"An altogether serious Shiraz, sending a consistent message from start to finish, with luscious, layered dark fruits, licorice and cedar in a velvety, perfectly balanced palate. Drink to 2038.

"Such a precise wine for the Barossa, almost delicate you might say. Raspberry, boysenberry, pecan, praline – all perfumed and spiced. Medium bodied with gentle fine grained tannin, bell clear acidity that rings true through the wine, juicy fresh faced berry flavours and a very long precise finish with something of a new leather perfume in the aftertaste. Superb to drink."

“While traditional Barossa Valley shiraz can be full-bodied, bold and often have higher alcohol levels, savvy producers, like Caillard, make wines of great elegance, while showing their warmer vineyard origins. The bouquet is all forest berries and spice.”
