“Good depth and hue to Andrew Caillard’s first venture into shiraz.  This is a seriously good shiraz,… with scented red and black fruits backed by superfine tannins and perfectly judged oak.  While intensely flavoured it is light on its feet.”

" A more elegant Barossa shiraz, Caillard smells of dark berries with light peppery and floral elements. Medium bodied. Still very young, but a picture of harmony."

"Dark cherry and boysenberry, mocha and spice with a subtle sort of vanilla, almost jasmine scented, perfume. Medium to full bodied with juicy cherry pip acidity and grainy ‘al dente’ tannin that fans out and runs silty on the finish. The balance and drinking force is strong in this one. Not a blockbuster, a wine of subtle charm and effortless drinking appeal. Lovely."

Decanter Magazine - Tasting Panel, UK, April 2014

“Sweet spice and blackcurrant fragrance.  Dusty oak and dark red fruits that open in the glass.  Concentration and power, juicy and succulent fruit with freshness and balance; true expression of the land.  Highly recommended.”
